FreeAXP won't find network devices

Hello,
as an old OpenVMS programmer/system manager I thought it would be nice to have a running AXP on my pc. I downloaded the FreeAXP kit and installed it.
However there are problems.
1. When I try to define a network card the drop down says "Invalid adapter: ask"
2. When I try to start the machine I get an error message stating among other things - "pcap_open_live_error - ask: No such device exists"

What am I missing?

Do you have winpcap installed?

If you need winpcap services for something else, use Npcap.
